Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 scoop Red Velvet Complete Protein Powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
  • 1 cup coconut sugar (or any other granulated sweetener)
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate chips (optional, for extra indulgence)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a square baking pan with coconut oil or line it with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, red velvet-flavored protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, coconut sugar, unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth and evenly blended.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it may result in a denser texture.

  5. If desired, fold in the vegan chocolate chips for an extra burst of chocolatey goodness.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  8. Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

  9. Once cooled, slice into squares or rectangles, and serve these delectable red velvet protein brownies as a delightful vegan dessert option. They can be enjoyed on their own or paired with a scoop of vegan ice cream.

Note: Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. You can also freeze the brownies for longer storage.
